  • Child and Babysitter Safety

    The class is the American Red Cross' babysitter's training – and will prepare you to become one of the most capable, trusted and in-demand sitters in your neighborhood. Babysitter training manual, DVD and certificate of completion included in class fee. Class topics include leadership, safety, basic care, first aid and professionalism. To enroll, students must be at least 11 years old by class start date and must attend all hours to receive the certification. Students may bring snacks and water bottle to class. During the school year, the class typically includes boys and girls, grades 5-8 and is located at either Mill Creek or Creekside. The Coordinator and instructor are aware of the different end times at the schools and will accommodate students arriving late from a building with a later dismissal time.
  • Safety Town 2024

    Safety Town is a safety education program offered to children entering young 5's and kindergarten in September. Each section includes eight days of class over a two-week time period. Topics include school bus, bike, and electrical safety, stranger danger, what to do in case of fire, and how to call 911. The children practice reciting their name, address, telephone number, and names of their parents. They also ride bikes in Safety Town Village to practice bike and street safety. Safety Town is a fun, educational experience that will help students become more safety-minded at home, at school, and in the community! Parents will receive a letter in late May with more information. Enrollment is limited.
  • Chess Scholars

    Chess Scholars: Develop your child's intellect through the royal game of chess! Current research has shown a strong link between chess and academic performance in a variety of areas, including mathematics and language arts. Chess has been proven to enhance children's motivation, concentration, focus, social skills, and creativity. Each day will consist of a fun, interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Both beginner and experienced players are welcome and will learn under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach.

They’ll have a blast using custom-built cars to move the people of the city all around town – brick by brick! What an accomplishment to be able to proudly exclaim “We built this BRICK City!”" Ticket to Ride Amusement Park Lego Camp: Get your ticket to ride at Bricks 4 Kidz very own Amusement Park! Build you favorite amusement park ride with LEGOs. Campers will build a new ride each day, learning how to make things spin, roll, turn and rock. Then they will take what they have learned to design their own thrills and challenges. Motorized models maximize the action and the fun. Each camp day includes carnival- themed games, group challenges, model-building and more. (K-5th grade)

  • Theater Camp

    Director: Jenn Bachman. Grades 3-6 and 3-8. Participation in a summer theater camp is a great opportunity for kids and young teens to be creative, gain confidence, and learn the value of teamwork. Students will learn all aspects of putting on a play, including acting, directing, set design, props, costumes and backstage operations. All camps will have a performance on the last day for friends and family. Grades 3-6 will meet 9am-noon to practice/perform a traditional theater camp. Grades 3-8 will meet 1-4pm to practice/perform a musical theater camp.
