    Advertise in The Squall! The Squall is Dexter High School's award-winning, student-driven newsmagazine. The issue is distributed four times each school year (November, January, March, and May), and is available to students, staff, and the local community. Prices are as follows for specific ad sizes: $50 for a business card (3 2/3" x 2"), $130 for a quarter page (3 2/3" x 5"), $250 for a half page (7 1/2" x 5"), and $500 for a full page (7 1/2" x 10"). The most substantial need for additional funding in the choral program is the cost of an accompanist for concerts and rehearsals.     Dexter's Senior Prom "An Enchanted Night." Prom will be held May 24, 2024 from 8-11pm at the University of Michigan Union's Rogel Ballroom. Ticket price - $65 per person Seniors can purchase up to 2 tickets. If the plus one ticket is for a non-Dexter student, guests must be approved through the Guest Pass process.   • International Thespian Society Membership 23-24

    Student Membership is open to all Drama Club students. This internationally recognized organization is devoted entirely to supporting theatre education. Students can become a member of the Honor Society and earn awards, attend special events, apply for scholarships, and receive educational materials. One-time fee is good for all years at DHS and can be transferred if the student switches school districts.
  • Mill Creek 7th grade Camp 2024-25

    7th Grade Camp Payment (September 2024) During the second week of the school year, September 9-13, 2024, the 7th grade class will be attending camp at YMCA Storer Camp in Napoleon Michigan. Students will attend the full week, overnight, and will participate in 14 hours of classes that center around team/community building, academics, and typically outdoor activities. Specific information about 7th grade camp can be found by visiting the 7th grade camp website or by emailing Camp director, Marianne Mutschler, at mccamp@dexterschools.org.   • Mill Creek Cedar Point Trip 2023-2024

    Mill Creek students are invited to join us on Wednesday, June 12th, for a thrilling day at Cedar Point to mark the end of the school year! For $110.00, you'll enjoy round-trip transportation, park admission, and the All Day Premium Dining package, featuring drinks every 15 minutes and a meal or snack every 90 minutes. Buses will depart Mill Creek @ 6:45 AM and return around 10:00 PM. By registration and submitting payment on Eleyo, you are agreeing to the Student/Parent Contract described below: It is understood that all school rules relative to behavior apply and that the school will not be held responsible for any injury to said student by negligence on the part of the student or by failure to comply with the stipulated rules and regulations. This also applies to students who fail to return with the group at the departure time. I understand if my child violates any of the rules, or the park rules, it is MY responsibility to pick the child up at Cedar Point. On the bus students will remain seated, use conversational tones while speaking, refrain from throwing anything, respect the adults in charge, dress appropriately and clean up after themselves. Payment must be submitted by Tuesday, May 21th. NO EXCEPTIONS.
