The Winter Indoor Developmental Field Hockey Program is perfect for players looking to build foundational skills in a supportive, fun environment. Open to girls and boys in grades 2-8, this program emphasizes skill-building in dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, and team play concepts. Led by experienced coaches, including former collegiate athletes and current DHS student-athletes, this program is designed for beginners and experienced players alike.
Winter sessions are held indoors, focusing on technique and game fundamentals without the need for additional weekend games. New players are welcome to borrow sticks and shin guards short-term, while returning players should bring their own stick, shin guards, and mouthguard.
The DCEFH Program is supported by a team of coaches, including former collegiate athletes, parents, DHS alumni and current DHS Field Hockey student-athletes. We collaborate to provide a fun environment with positive role modeling, team building, and skill instruction to all levels regardless of ability.
