Dexter Community Education

We’re excited to announce Dexter’s new Girls Flag Football program! This is a team-based sport where one high school team will represent Dexter and compete against teams from other high schools.

The team will participate in the Michigan Girls High School Flag Football League “Third Season,” in partnership with Detroit Lions Football Education. 

Program Overview:

• Season Dates:
  • May 3-4, 2025 – Week 1 Games v Belleville
  • May 10-11, 2025 – Week 2 Games v Brighton
  • May 17-18, 2025 – Week 3 Games v Holly
  • May 31 or June 1, 2025 – Post-Season Championship Tournament at Ford Field in Detroit
• Practice Schedule: 1-2 practices per week (schedule TBD).
• Coach: Rob Dubay
• Games: Weekends during the regular season.
• Cost: $25 (includes all uniforms and equipment).

Additional Information:

• Teams are 7v7, with rosters of 15–25 players.
• You can participate in this program while playing other spring sports or club activities.

This program offers a great opportunity to compete locally and even explore collegiate flag football. Siena Heights University and other Michigan colleges are adding flag football scholarship programs!
