The Jr. Cheer Clinic is a fundraiser for the Cheer Program. Boys and Girls in grades Y5-6 will learn basic cheerleading techniques and a short routine taught by the DHS Varsity Cheerleaders, under the supervision of the Head Cheer Coach.
The Jr. Cheer clinics are offered twice a year; one during football season in the fall and one during basketball season in the winter.
The fall clinic includes two practices and a performance at halftime of a DHS home football game on Friday September 26 at Al Ritt Field. The games begin at 7pm. The fee includes a t-shirt. Jr. Cheer clinic attendees wear their clinic t-shirts to the game which gives them free admission at the game. Family members pay regular admission.
Fall 2025: The performance is at half-time of the football game on FRIDAY, September 26. Meet on the track at 6:30pm on Friday.
Registrations after 8:00am on September 8 are not guaranteed a shirt.
