Community Ed Programming / Youth Enrichment -
Fall 2025

This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the world of broadcasting and journalism. Students will explore the principles, practices, and ethics of journalism and broadcasting, including news reporting, story development, scriptwriting, and multimedia production. The course aims to develop critical thinking, communication, and technical skills necessary for a successful career in journalism or broadcasting.

Final Projects or Artifacts: Students will research, report, write, and produce a piece of journalism or broadcasting content.

Required Equipment: Headphones and Laptop (Chromebook, etc).
