All school athletic registrations start with a $0 placeholder fee. The participation fee is billed once rosters are confirmed — for some sports, this is after tryouts, and for others it’s after registration closes. SPORTS REGISTRATION IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Two-Part Registration Process: All middle school and high school student-athletes must be signed up on BOTH Eleyo and through Big Teams. Step 1: Eleyo Registration and Payment Method. Sign up via Eleyo (where you are now) and provide a payment method before the season starts. You will initially be charged zero at registration. The participation fee will be charged to your provided payment method on January 23. For sports with tryouts, the coach will notify the athletic department of any student-athletes who did not make the team and their registration will be removed and you won't be charged. Step 2: Complete Registration on the Dexter Athletics BigTeams Website. This is where you'll upload your athlete's physical and complete your annual forms. Detailed instructions for this process can be found at dexterathletics.com under Files & Links. Please be sure that the sport(s) your athlete wishes to play are checked off in their BigTeams account - this is how coaches are notified of your athlete’s interest in that sport. Physical Requirement: All participants must have a current physical on file on their BigTeams account, dated after April 15, 2025. The MHSAA physical form is available here and also on dexterathletics.com. Physicals conducted before April 15, 2025 are not valid for the upcoming school year. Once an athlete’s physical has been uploaded to BigTeams, you will receive an email with approval or reasons why it was denied. Registration Issues: If you don't see an option to register, it might be because your account shows that your student does not attend Dexter Schools (based on your address). To correct this, please email communityed@dexterschools.org with your student's name, and we will update your account so you can complete registration. Financial Assistance: Scholarships - Please complete the scholarship application form before the season begins. Any application submitted past the start of the season may not be granted. Athletes who have not paid their participation fees, made arrangements to pay their fees, or been approved for a scholarship will not be permitted to participate in practices or competitions until those obligations are met. Family Maximum - After all pay-to-participate fees are paid for the year, families may apply for reimbursement for fees paid over $1000. This reimbursement is good for middle school and high school sports only (other extracurriculars are not part of the family max). The deadline to apply for this reimbursement is MAY 31 of each school year. Any applications submitted after that date will be denied.
