Welcome to our Men's Basketball league, where the spirit of the game thrives without the need for referees. We offer a basketball experience that emphasizes fair play, camaraderie, and sportsmanship. Must be 18yrs or older to participate. Here's what you can expect: Referee-Free Action: Our league operates on the honor system, with players responsible for making their own calls. This promotes a sense of integrity and self-regulation, fostering a respectful and friendly atmosphere on the court. Advance Registration: To ensure a smooth and organized game, we require all participants to register in advance. Competitive and Fun: Whether you're a seasoned basketball player or just looking to have some fun on the court, our league caters to all skill levels. Expect a healthy balance of competition and enjoyment. Camaraderie: Our league is not just about basketball; it's about building friendships and connections. After each game, players are encouraged to socialize and build lasting relationships, both on and off the court. Rules and Fair Play: While we don't have referees, we do have established rules and guidelines to ensure fair play. Players are expected to adhere to these rules and exhibit good sportsmanship throughout all sessions. Bring a basketball and a dark colored & light colored shirt each week. Minimum of 8 participants. -

Boater Safety
This course will provide you with the info necessary to safely operate a variety of boats and personal watercraft (PWC). Learn navigation rules, boat & PWC operation, maintenance and specific laws & regulations to legally operate watercraft in Michigan. Upon successful completion you will receive a State of MI Boater’s Safety Certificate required for legal operation of any type of personal watercraft (including jet skis) for all persons born after 12/31/1978. Persons under 14 years of age may not legally operate a PWC. Based on feedback from previous participants, participants should be at least 12 years of age. Bring lunch, drinks & snack. Important: In addition to registering here on the Community Ed platform, the DNR is asking you to register on their site as well in order to receive credit for your certification. -

Create harmony and balance of body and mind through physical postures, breathing techniques and an extended guided relaxation at the end of class. Suitable for most fitness and experience levels. Modifications are offered for both dialing back and going deeper into your practice. This class is perfect for both new and seasoned yogis looking for a restorative practice. 60-min. Hatha-Flow Yoga for Wellness (Beginner/Level 1 – Intermediate/Level 2)
Improve physical and mental balance, flexibility, strength and stamina with this moderately challenging yoga practice. Vinyasa translates to “flow” through the connection of breath with movement and Hatha translates to “sun & moon” representing balance and unification in Sanskrit. Suitable for those with a moderate fitness level, some experience with yoga is helpful although not necessary. Modifications offered for both dialing back and going deeper into your practice. Instant Piano/Guitar for Hopelessly Busy People
In just a few hours, you can learn enough secrets of the trade to give you years of musical enjoyment. Learn to play piano the way professionals do-using chords. The chord method is LOTS of fun and dramatically easier to learn than reading notes. Fee includes the online book, online follow up lessons, a recording of the class and also an optional periodic question and answer session.
