The issue is distributed four times each school year (October, December, March and May), and is available to students, staff, and the local community.   • Health Occupations Students of America - HOSA 25-26

    HOSA Registration Dues 2025-26 Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is an organization for students interested in pursuing careers in the health/medical fields. Membership in HOSA requires an annual dues payment of $20, which provides access to resources, conference opportunities, and more. For students wishing to compete at the Regional competition at Brighton High School on 1/17/26, HOSA membership and the payment of dues are required. Cost: $20
  • International Thespian Society Membership 25-26

    Student Membership is open to all Drama Club students. This internationally recognized organization is devoted entirely to supporting theatre education. Students can become a member of the Honor Society and earn awards, attend special events, apply for scholarships, and receive educational materials. One-time fee is good for all years at DHS and can be transferred if the student switches school districts.
  • Mill Creek 7th grade Camp 2026-27

    7th Grade Camp Payment (September 2025) During the second week of the school year, September 14-18th, 2026, the 7th grade class will be attending camp at YMCA Storer Camp in Napoleon Michigan. Students will attend the full week, overnight, and will participate in 14 hours of classes that center around team/community building, academics, and typically outdoor activities. Specific information about 7th grade camp can be found by visiting the 7th grade camp website or by emailing Camp director, Marianne Mutschler, at mccamp@dexterschools.org. Cost :$375 Due: August 28, 2026 *Pay your students camp fee in full by May 29th and the total camp cost will be $350 ($25 will be automatically deducted when you checkout). All payments received after May 29th will increase to $375.
  • Mill Creek Holocaust History 6th & 7th hour classes

    Mill Creek Middle School: Holocaust History 6th & 7th hour classes Our Holocaust History classes at Mill Creek will be going to the Zekelman Holocaust Center in Farmington Hills on January 8, 2026. We are fortunate to have such high quality learning opportunities to explore in our community. We appreciate adult chaperones who volunteer to accompany us on this trip, either meeting us there or by riding along on the bus. If you are able to join us for the trip to the Holocaust Center, please email Cheryl Darnton at <darntonc@dexterschools.org>. Thanks for considering! Please see the itinerary details below: When: Thursday, January 8, 2026. Leave Mill Creek by school bus at 8:15am, return by 12:50 pm (Our group will eat during the 3rd lunch session back at Mill Creek.) Where: Zekelman Holocaust Center, 28123 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334 Cost: Thanks to a generous grant by the Educational Foundation of Dexter, the cost of admission to the Holocaust Center is covered. We are asking families to donate $15.00 to offset the cost of transportation. Adults will be present at all times during the trip. Students will be expected to comport themselves with respect and courtesy during the entire experience.

  • Model UN Conference - MUNUM 25-26

    Model United Nations University of Michigan (MUNUM 39) Conference When- Friday January 16, 2025 as an entire delegation we will eat lunch at the South Quad Dining Hall. To take care of expenses for this "team luncheon" to save you both time need for a tip for one meal, we are going to enjoy a "team meal" on our first day at the conference. $20 will take care of the whole lunch and will be cafeteria style, All-You-Care-To-Eat fashion. Mr. Dudash has worked with the South Quad Dining Services to have us have a reserved space for our group of around 15 student delegates and advisor to sit together. This will be our "big" team event for the weekend. Often students pack lunch or go to eat with delegates from our school or from other schools.
