Mill Creek Back to School Bash—Fundraiser!

Welcome to Mill Creek! To kick off the year and welcome our 7th and 8th graders, we’re excited to host our annual Back to School Bash Fundraiser—an afternoon of inflatables, games, open gym, music, and more. The Bash is just one of many ways we help students connect and have fun at Mill Creek.

This is our only major fundraiser, as Mill Creek does not have a PTO or ongoing sales fundraisers. Your generosity directly supports vibrant, engaging programming for Mill Creek. Funds raised from the “Bash” will support the cost of the “Bash”, school programs, field trips, assemblies, clubs, classroom activities, student and staff appreciation, and other special programming at Mill Creek.

In years past, we have implemented a bracelet system where families purchase a bracelet for admission to the Bash. This year we are trying a different approach. Every student will receive a wristband at orientation attached to their schedule. We are simply going to ask families for donations at their own discretion. This will ensure that everyone can attend the Bash and will allow for families to make a determination on a donation (or no donation) that works best for them. The goal of our fundraiser is to raise approximately $30 per Mill Creek student.

The Bash takes place right after orientation on the football field behind Mill Creek, August 25th from 4:00–6:00 PM. All Mill Creek students are encouraged to participate. Pizza and ice cream will be available for purchase.

Note: These donations support the Back to School Bash and a wide range of things mentioned above at Mill Creek, but do not cover special trips like 7th Grade Camp, Washington DC, Cedar Point, or other separately funded events.

Additional Notice: We have had years where the Bash has been interrupted by inclement weather. It is possible that inclement weather shortens the Bash or cancels it all together. Donations are non-refundable in the event the Bash is cancelled or interrupted due to unforeseen circumstances. This did occur in the past and our Business Office informed us that we cannot refund a donation.

  • $60 – Doubles your impact by covering the full cost for two students and additional support highlighted above throughout the year.
  • $100 or more- Your generosity supports multiple Mill Creek Community members and is a crucial role in making all school programming and support highlighted above significantly more accessible.
