Dexter Community Education's School Age Child Care program offers a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children after school and on select non-school days during the year.

Classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment two weeks prior to the start date may be canceled. We encourage families to register early.

Learning doesn't have to stop after the bell rings! Complement your child’s learning experience with a Mad Science after-school program. Our unique approach gives children a solid scientific foundation that goes beyond the classroom. Children engage in hands-on activities, watch spectacular demos, and an educational science take home every class.
NASA Space Explorers: Kids explore the wonders of our solar system and the technology that makes space exploration possible! They investigate planets, moons, and meteors, experiment with lasers, gravity, and radar, and dive into the forces of flight and rocket design—all while uncovering the science behind how we explore the universe.
MAD SCIENCE REFUND POLICY: cancellation requests must be received at least seven (7) days before the start date of the class. Refunds will not be issued for cancellation requests received less than seven days before the class begins.
