Dexter Community Education's School Age Child Care program offers a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children after school and on select non-school days during the year.

Is your 3rd-6th grader interested in acting and curious about what goes into staging a play?
In our Theater After School class, they’ll explore costumes, set design, learning lines, blocking, and enjoy improv games and exercises. The program wraps up with a special performance for family and friends on the final day!

Jenn has been a dance and theatre teacher here in Dexter for 23 years. She teaches full time at Dancer's Edge and teaches everything from very young dancers, creative movement, tap, ballet, jazz, musical theatre, and the competition program. She has performed with many area theatre groups including Ann Arbor Civic Theatre, Pinckney Players, Dexter Community Players, Saline Area Players, and in most recent years, has been in multiple productions at the Encore Theatre here in Dexter. She loves to share her passion and excitement for the arts with children of all ages!
