Dexter Community Education's School Age Child Care program offers a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children after school and on select non-school days during the year.

Through a diverse range of programs, workshops, and experiences, we aim to inspire creativity, foster personal development, and cultivate a lifelong love for learning among our youth.
Physical fitness, team sports and special events.
Classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment two weeks prior to the start date may be canceled. We encourage families to register early.
Spring 2026 Courses: Registration opens Saturday, February 28 at 8:00 AM
2026 Camp Dexter & 2026–27 After Care: Returning Families – Feb. 28 at 8 AM | New Families – March 21 at 8 AM
Open Gym gives students in grades 1–6 a chance to stay active over winter break with unstructured gym time. Participants may use the space for open play and bring personal equipment to use during the session.
This is not a structured class or supervised practice. Staff will be present for building supervision only.
