Digital Comics Making Club is a great way to learn digital comic making, as it's never been more accessible!
Would your child like to explore digital art, but you don't want to invest in expensive equipment before you know if it's right for them? Now they can! In this club, you can learn all the basics in just 6 weeks! The course will begin with an introduction to the application and build on skills from there, leaving students who complete the series with the basics to immediately begin publishing webcomics, as well as a foundation to continue to build upon.
The instructor will provide the iPads and Apple Pencils that the students will borrow, using the same one each week with their work saved on it. The class will demonstrate the tools and process to complete a comics page, and will guide them with further tips to help participants complete their book by the last meeting. The instructor will print all the books and share the digital copies as well.
Additional Information: If students want to continue with their new skills, they can purchase and download Procreate for their own iPads at home. Procreate is the digital tool used in the class to help create student masterpieces!
