Community Education Programming provides enrichment and recreational opportunities for all ages in the Dexter community. Our classes and events support lifelong learning, creativity, wellness, and connection.
Dexter Community Education's School Age Child Care program offers a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children after school and on select non-school days during the year.

Purchase quarterly pool passes or reserve a private swim party at the Dexter Community Pool. Swim lessons are listed under Youth Rec & Sports
Through a diverse range of programs, workshops, and experiences, we aim to inspire creativity, foster personal development, and cultivate a lifelong love for learning among our youth.
Active, skill-building programs that keep kids moving, learning, and having fun through recreation and sports.
Our summer basketball camps are led by DHS basketball coaches and are assisted by current and former DHS players. Students in grades 1-6 learn the game, develop and strengthen skills in a fun-filled environment. Participants should bring court shoes and a water bottle. Sign up for the grade your student will enter in the fall.
Register by July 1 at noon and receive a camp t-shirt! Registrations received after 7/1 at 12p are not guaranteed to receive a camp t-shirt.
Boys grades 1-2 camp is held from July 13th-15th (8am - 11am)
Boys grades 3-4 camp is held from July 6th-9th (8am - 11am)
Boys grades 5-6 camp is held from July 6th-9th (12pm - 3pm)
