8th Grade Families,
We are excited to announce that on June 8, all 8th grade students will participate in a service learning field trip. Each team has partnered with one or more local organizations to provide this meaningful experience. Teams will communicate specific details about the projects students will be working on.
Permission slips will be sent home soon. Please review the information and return the permission slip with your 8th grader.
To help make this special day possible, we are seeking donations to cover the cost of work gloves, district transportation, and a pizza lunch for our student volunteers. The estimated cost is $20 per student. Any amount you are able to contribute will go directly toward making this service learning experience accessible for all 8th graders.
If you are able to donate, please make your contribution through Eleyo. Families who are able may also choose to donate $40 to help cover the cost for another student whose family may not be able to contribute.
Your support will help empower our students to give back to the community and learn through service. Thank you for your generosity and for supporting our students as they make a difference.
Sincerely,
8th Grade Teachers
